Students will prepare for the Annual Speech Contest hosted by the Chula Vista Elementary School District. Throughout the club, students will develop and practice their public speaking skills by preparing a speech, improving their delivery, and building confidence in speaking in front of an audience. Students will work on voice projection, pronunciation, expression, eye contact, memorization, and stage presence while receiving guidance and constructive feedback.
The club will culminate in the District Annual Speech Contest during Quarter 3, where students will have the opportunity to showcase their hard work and represent their school!
Participants must currently be in grades 4 to 6.
Registration starts on 09/08/2026 and ends on 12/17/2026.
